About Okrug Gornji

The Western side of Island Čiovo hides two beautiful traditional Dalmatian villages: Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji. Both are the centre of Dalmatian micro region known for its mild Mediterranean climate, rich subtropical and Mediterranean vegetation, archipelago of picturesque little islands and numerous hidden bays and beaches. Okrug Riviera is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Croatia with more than 2670 hours of sunshine a year. Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji offers you many restaurants, local konobas (fish and sea food restaurants - be sure not to miss them!) and other catering establishments with a grand choice of Dalmatian specialties which are natural ecological food. Our customers enjoy sunny days and clean sea together with many recreational facilities like diving school which will offer you the pleasure of exploring the beauties of Adriatic submarine life or fitness and tennis that swipe away modern life stress. If you feel like discovering the beaches choose one of many daily boat excursions which take you to quiet bays, or if it’s action you want choose beach-parachute rental on a local beach. You feel like having fun at the sea but not going deep under or high above? Then look for a Rent-a-Scooter sign!

Only 4 kilometers from Okrug lies a beautiful town of Trogir over 2800 years of history! It UNESCO protected, which really speaks for itself! After a daylong stroll through the history and culture of Trogir’s streets why not explore it’s night life? For both, we assure you’ll need more than a day!
